Optimize Your Performance:
You receive all the benefits,
features and advanced power of 68040 software with the MicroMac 68040
LC575 Logic Board Trade-up. With the 80/40MHz upgrade model you'll
get a performance gain of up to 450%. Imagine faster access to the
Internet, Web sites and your applications. Run Real Audio and receive
streaming stereo broadcasts. Enjoy quick screen redraws in Photoshop
and other graphic-intensive applications. Scroll through your word
processing documents in mere seconds instead of minutes. The 68040
processor delivers the power needed to run today's demanding software
that will not work with 68030-based Macs - even those equipped with
an accelerator card.
RAM! RAM!! RAM!!! And More RAM:
No longer are you limited to
the 10MB limitation set by the Color Classic or the 8MB set by MAC
TV. Give your applications room to breathe by adding up to 132MB of
RAM onto the logic board. That's more than enough memory to run all
your favorite applications, Internet software and utilities as well
as the latest Mac OS 8 in a comfortable computing environment.

LC575 Logic Board Trade-up provides you with the ability to run
16-bit color (thousands of colors) on the built-in monitor. Now you
can view rich, pure photographic color images in such applications as
Photoshop and Web browsers displaying JPEG images. With 16-bit color
you can perform accurate color correction on photographs, scans and
images which is impossible to do with limited 8-bit color.
