The SIMMdoubler II consists of four boards that plug into the SIMM slots on the logic board of your Macintosh. Each SIMMdoubler II board consists of two slots which effectively doubles your SIMM capacity. This is the most cost effective solution to add physical memory to your existing DRAM by combining or using SIMMs you currently own or plan to purchase.

Example: Create a 16MB Macintosh IIci by installing one set of 3MB SIMMdoubler II boards (a combination of one 1MB and two 2MB SIMMs) in Bank A and four 1MB SIMMs in Bank B on the logic board.
