The video circuitry of the LC550 Logic Board has 512KB base VRAM and can be expanded with one 256KB VRAM SIMM. MicroMac can provide a 256KB VRAM to display 16-bit color, or if your slower logic board already has expanded VRAM, you can transfer the VRAM SIMM to the new faster logic board.

Upgrade Installation: When ordering the Color Classic Screen upgrade you need to obtain an RMA number from MicroMac Technology. Then send your Color Classic by Mail, UPS or FedEx or another carrier of your choice to MicroMac Technology. MicroMac perform the screen upgrade, test your Color Classic, and return the upgrade Color Classic to you.
